Healing for the People Who Carry the Most
I’m Taneasha Clark, LCSW-C/LCSW, veteran, former educator, and Founder/Clinical Director of ACT Wellness Institute. I specialize in supporting Black and other people of color who carry high levels of responsibility: professionals, educators, military/veterans, and individuals who’ve learned to push through even when their bodies and emotions are overwhelmed.
My approach blends trauma-focused, culturally grounded, and faith-sensitive care. I help clients understand their nervous system, interrupt patterns rooted in survival, and build tools for long-term emotional stability, clarity, and connection. ACT Wellness Institute exists to create a space where high-responsibility individuals can finally exhale, be seen, and heal without shrinking themselves.
